BE-0X explores the foundational elements of construction through a deconstructed lens. This 2025 sculpture features a broken standard brick with highlighted paint, revealing brick and mortar on opposing sides. A rope threaded through the brick's holes references the tethering systems that bind our built environment together, while the fractured form questions the structural integrity we take for granted in a single unit. A meditation on architecture, materiality, and the invisible forces that hold our world together.
