About The Artist
Jordan N. Thompson is a St. Louis-based multidisciplinary artist and architectural designer whose work explores the relationship between structure, memory, resistance, and transformation. Drawing from a background in architecture, athletics, writing, and community engagement, Jordan creates works that exist between precision and intuition.
Working across painting, mixed media, installation, poetry, and design, Jordan investigates the ways people navigate uncertainty, grief, identity, and belonging. Her practice often begins with systems—grids, measurements, patterns, and architectural frameworks—and evolves through disruption, layering, and improvisation.
Jordan is the founder of STUK Studios, an evolving creative practice dedicated to art, design, storytelling, and cultural dialogue. Through exhibitions, installations, public programming, and collaborative projects, she seeks to create spaces where people can encounter themselves and one another more honestly.
Her work has been exhibited throughout St. Louis and has gained recognition for its ability to balance vulnerability with structure, creating visual experiences that feel both deeply personal and universally familiar.
